Goodbye, Bon Voyage, Toodle Pip!

Don't panic!

I've only recently restarted this blog, so I'm definitely not going anywhere yet, but it's true that this post really is all about goodbyes... 

September sees the start of the new academic year, and so the Autumn months are often a time when folks head off to start their next chapter in life. If you know someone moving out for the first time, or moving far away for work or study, you'll know it can be a roller coaster of emotion - a mix of sadness that you won't see them as often, and excitement for all the good things that lie in their future!

Of course it's easier than ever to keep in touch these days, so no matter how far away they are, they're probably still within easy reach via social media, WhatsApp, and Skype et al., but as someone who's lived and worked away from close friends and family several times over the years, I can tell you for certain that there's nothing quite as nice as receiving a thoughtful, handwritten card or letter in the mail. 

First thing's first - as they head off, make sure they carry your love, luck, and best wishes with them wherever they go. My Bon Voyage cards are perfect for this - you can even personalise them with a name, nickname, or special message on the front!
